frequently asked

How do I know if this program is right for me or for my junior golfer?

The NHGA program accommodates golfers of all abilities whether you have years of experience or learning the game for the first time. Our program offers participants the opportunity to improve their game in a fun and inclusive environment!

What do I need to bring on the first day of class?

Golfers will need all of their golf clubs and appropriate athletic attire. Golf shoes are not required but athletic shoes should be worn. Before the first class, NHGA will send an introductory email with additional information specific to their class.

Should parents/guardians stay for Junior Classes?

Outdoor Lessons: Parents/Guardians are welcomed to stay but cannot interfere with the lesson. We will be playing the course and parents/guardians will need to stay near the clubhouse during this time as they are not permitted on the course.

Indoor Lessons: Due to spacing in our indoor facility, NHGA would prefer parents not to wait inside for the duration of the lesson as we cannot accommodate all parents/guardians.

What if I am going to miss one or two of my scheduled days?

NHGA cannot guarantee make-up classes will be offered during indoor or outdoor sessions. No refunds will be administered for missing a class(es).

What if it is raining all day...how do I know if the lesson is still on?

NHGA will reschedule weather related cancellations. Rescheduled dates might not fall on the typically scheduled class day.

What if I do not have golf clubs?

NHGA does NOT provide golf clubs to participants. We encourage our players and parents/guardians to look for a modest set of clubs. All golfers will need at least a putter and wedge. Please call us with any questions.
